I posted in nintendo_ds about a pixel problem I have, and someone commented back about this program http://nintendo-ds.dcemu.co.uk/lcdtester.shtml. I was wondering if anyone here is in the NYC area who owns the equiptment needed to run the program and would help me out with this. I live in Brooklyn, but I attend school in Illinois and will only be in town until the 7th.

I'll save your time.. no software can fix dead pixels

Stuck pixels, not dead pixels.

Stuck on, stuck off.. dead.. what ever you would like to call it, it's a manufacturing defect and no software voodoo can rid you of them

That's a load of bull. Stuck pixels are merely stuck on one color, and the flashing colors trick can be used to possibly unstick them. It's not guaranteed to work, no, but it has worked for other people before.

You obviously know nothing about electronics.

Even so, think for half a second.. if you could fix it with software.. they would do it before they sold it to you as part of their QA process.

And yet, I know people who have fixed it that way. The electronic dumbass appears to be you.

What a twist!
